Well the article says he will "picks up where Obama left off" in terms of green. That sounds damn good compromise to me. It doesn't matter if we get a super/duper green candidate to the general and then electoral college style we get defeated.

And by the way defeated here means Trump for 4 more years, it doesn't get less green than that

Maybe. Then as progressives I believe we may be shooting ourselves in the foot yet again. Unless what we really want is for him to say one thing for primaries and another for general (AKA pivot). Funny-sad how Trump didn't have to pivot at all.

I don't think that a politician would need to pivot on climate change to win.

I mean to me that is clear he is not denying immediate action against climate change.

Obama warned of the “circular firing squad.” Whomever emerges as the nominee, we need to support wholeheartedly. Don’t forget, our only mission is to get Trump out of the White House.

Our mission is to not doom the human race to extinction. Which will be what will happen if we don’t reverse climate change in the next 10-12 years. That can only happen with radical change. The time for moderate policy was 10-20 years ago.

That's putting the horse before the cart. Re-elect Trump and we get no action on Climate Change.
