Then gets enraged because she defies his order to put out her cigarette while he’s talking to her. That’s when she’s forced out of her car and then he escalated the confrontation til she lashed out, triggering the arrest. He knew exactly what he was doing.

I’m actually very pro-police. But this was a chickenshit stop conducted with unnecessary attitude that then culminated in confrontation, arrest and the ultimate suicide of a vulnerable person. It’s indefensible.

This is how cops get away with sexually assaulting women as well. If you have no recourse when an officer is clearly abusing their power, anything could happen to you. You go into fight or flight mode and 9/10 if you’re a POC the cop will just murder you for not listening.
