The police are the most dangerous gang in America. I do not feel safe when police are around. Seeing a cop drive by makes my heart sink.

Over the past 10 years, I have had the police handcuff me in the woods and threaten to bury me there (weed); as well as burst into my house at 2AM to point laser-pointed AR15s in my face ("wellness" check). It's a wide wide world.

My God, I’m so sorry. Years ago I called the police in my mother’s city to do a wellness check because I did not receive my daily call from her. Thankfully the cops simply did their job, checked on her and were respectful. NO WAY in hell would I call the cops for this now.

In the US the only way you can get help for a mentally ill family member is call the police, when they are being a 'danger to themselves or others'. That's the law. Imagine dealing with that when a loved one is in psychosis.

Exactly. Few years ago in Brooklyn a young mentally ill man in distress stripped and climbed a fire escape. He was clearly naked and unarmed. NYPD still tasered him and he fell to his death in front of a crowd of neighbors and his distraught mother. This is legalized murder.

They immediately pointed loaded guns at me and all started shouting confusing commands. If they shot me, they would have justified it the same way those Arizona cops justified murdering that guy who had a BB gun is an Arizona hotel.

Also- the shouting multiple conflicting commands to further terrorize someone who is clearly NOT a threat is another tactic these thugs use. Covers all their bases afterwards.

Recording video is great; however make sure your videos and photos are set up to auto upload to your cloud accounts that way the cops won't have the one and only copy of it and we don't have to fight for four years with them to see it.
