This pardon from Trump is just another part of his white supremacy tour. It's his way of saying that when a white man kills a Muslim - even if he disobeys orders and is convicted of murder - that the Muslim deserves it and that the white man deserves a break/sympathy.

The two crazy things about this is: 1)He was already out of prison and has been for a while 2)Look at the picture the WP is using for the article. The pic looks like a guy released from prison after a wrong conviction. Disgusting.
-
If he was black or brown, they would probably use his mugshot or picture of him with a weapon.
-
100% They would also tell us there was weed in his system

this directly and adversely affects the Americans who have the misfortune of being captured.

But don't forget. Mr. Trump likes the ones who don't get captured...

Wow that’s disgusting

It sure is! Doesn't he have a military code of justice he must live by! He disobeyed a direct order!

The US military does not convict soldiers unless they can’t even deny the evidence. He clearly intended malice on the Iraqi detainee. But now he gets treated like a guy who spent 25 years in prison for a murder, when he wasn’t even in the same state at the time.

The upside is that in accepting a pardon, the recipient is admitting guilt.

And served his sentence, and was released 5 years ago.
-
His sentence was originally 25 years. It got reduced to 15 years. When Trump pardoned him, he still had 5 years to serve in prison. He got released early b/c of the pardon. Millions are sickened by implications on whom trump confers pardons.
-
He was released 5 years ago. Maybe he was on parole for 5 more years. Trump should confer all drug use sentences as well.
-
He was still on parole when the pardon came thru. Out of prison, but still on parole. Read the article, it spells out the facts.

So now I suppose he can become a cop.
-
He should be banned from ever holding a position that requires to carry.
