Goodness gracious. Just heartbroken to see that Rachel Held Evans has passed away at the young age of 37. She was a kind, courageous, fearless soul. Rachel was consistently supportive and kind to me across the years as both of our journeys weaved in and out of the American church. My dear brother, who recently passed, admired her as well. She was a mother of two young babies under the age of 3. Life is so very fragile.
Did she write A Year if Biblical Womanhood? I really learned a lot from that book. 
It's an essential book.
