And the Bernie backed candidates failed to flip any red seats with all those young people voting.

We sure are! I voted last year and also registered my sibling and a few of my other friends. It was their first time voting!

well when they never voted all that much in the first place % increases are not significent. And then when they go out and vote for grifters like Jill Stein because they didn't get their way, then it's all I can do to laugh for crying.

Young peeps voted at 30% in the midterms. Still low but much higher than prior midterms.

I think the fear is, that the younger voters are still an unpredictable wild card voter. Union workers definitely vote!!!

Can we have more than one election before we declare the myth busted? I’d love to see the trend change, but more data (elections) needs to be collected before it signifies an end to the decades long pattern of apathy among young voters.
