2008 was a knockdown, drag out fight for the nomination. It was nuts. 2016 was a civil dispute. 2020 needs to be 2008 times 20. Bad candidates need to be called out. Bad faith calls for civility need to be ignored. Politics ain't beanbag, after all.

He ran on “Main Street not Wall Street” yet he appointed half of Wall Street to his cabinet and never even discussed raising the minimum wage in his 8 years. -

Yup and then she ended up in his administration bc she supported him. I hope that happens with whoever ends up the nominee.

That’s what happened in 2016, Sanders campaigned for her. People act as if he never supported her in the general right after the primary is truly over. So yes, it’s going to happen in 2020.

I can't confirm that about Shaun (still respect his views), but I will say that many Bernie supporters are beyond the pale..rabidly short-sighted (fanaticism) and immature (my way or nobody).

Are we going to continue with the suicidal Bernie purity test again? Because that hasn't turned out so well. Meanwhile Republicans are gerrymandering and passing laws to keep minorities from voting.

The trouble is these were attacks because Obama was criticizing Hillary about being owned by corporations while taking corporate donations. Hypocrisy makes it an attack.

But this time is a tad bit different. We have too much to lose

There's plenty of time to choose the right candidate for the way forward. The primaries aren't until next year.
