What I am saying, and will continue to say, is that if mass incarceration is a problem for you, even a little bit, you must understand that Joe Biden is a primary architect of that system. This isn't opinion. He said so himself on about a dozen occasions. And that's not OK.
And here's the thing - if you have a problem with me - ask ANY expert on mass incarceration - ANY of them - ask ANY informed organizer on the issue of mass incarceration - about Joe Biden's role in building mass incarceration and ask if he has had a real reckoning on this.

If so, then it's still useful to have Biden in this race. As with many other progressive issues, his history will force debate on this topic and any candidate that wants our support will have to make their stance known & answer for their history on it. This *includes* Bernie.
The issue is whether he can take votes from Trump that a progressive candidate can't. And right now it's more important to defeat Trump so we can reform the system rather than lose with a progressive candidate and lose everything forever.

I primarily have a problem with making excuses cause sanders voted for it, and using it as a weapon against multiple democratic candidates. It makes Bernie people look purely hypocritical

Everyone has their reasons. I literally just said his supporters will make excuses for it. It still passed, with Bernie as an affirmative, so Bernie shares in the responsibility for the consequences of the bill.

I like Joe Biden and love the @SymoneDSanders hire. He's not getting my vote in the primary. I will be more than happy to give him my vote in the general election, given 1 of 2 choices.
