Not defending Joe here, I don’t know the details of his legislation. Our justice system needs an overhaul, period. I understand harsh penalties for violent criminals, but too many people get dragged up into the wrong net. This should be a central campaign issue across the board.

Unfortunately he'll still get a of of votes because a "tough on crime" stance is progressives' favorite tool to show they're amenable to centrist positions. They love to say "end mass incarceration" but they're not willing to do a thing about it other than marijuana legalization.

Strongly disagree. Went with the centrist last time and the status quo, and lost big time. It's not going to work this time either. Less likely to work this time around. Most will not take Bernie's advice and vote for Biden or any other Corporate tool. We've had enough.
