I agree, but it doesn’t help that you’re trashing other Democratic candidates to exalt your’s. You’ve got a huge platform, use it for the better purpose.

Criticizing policy isn’t trashing. We have to discuss these things now, that’s what primary season is for.
-
I guess we just differ on this. Biden has done some bad things. Its ok to speak truth on that.
-
They all have, but doing some bad things shouldn’t come with a “life sentence!” This man sat for 8 years under arguably the finest POTUS ever to hold the office! The beautiful thing about humans is their ability n tendency to change!
-
I’m not sure we agree re: Obama, either.
People can and do change, of course! I just don’t see Joe doing that. We have better options.

Democratic voters just care about charisma. Your average voter doesn’t care about policy. It’s genuinely depressing. There are people who think Biden is a progressive and Trump is somehow worse than Bush.
-
I think that's why have to just keep making a lot of noise about
#medicareforall and all the other things@BernieSanders stands for. The 'average' voter needs to see how#Bernie2020 will affect him / her personally. -
oops forgot my "we"

I think Democrats can think for themselves. We don't have to accept Bernie as our saviour.
-
Of course. It would be coercive and undemocratic to take anyone's choice away. Our votes are sacred. I will vote for Bernie and if he loses, will vote Green or stay home probably. Maybe Warren, I don't know. Tulsi maybe.
-
And this is why we lost. What does voting green do to fix our problem? I don’t like Bernie at all but for the greater good I would vote for him. Whoever get the nomination gets my vote
-
Our problem is war, no health care for many, etc. and voting for just any candidate won't fix it. It has to be someone for
#People not#Corporations and billionaires. Do you see that voting for a dem who won't stand up for ppl is our problem? WE are the problem, if we cave. -
So in your mind, what is
@ewarren saying/not saying that doesn't meet this standard?http://elizabethwarren.com/issues -
She pretty much ignores the working class and poor. Her maternal mortality plan would hurt poor women, her student loan forgiveness plan would do the same. She's been wishy-washy on M4A, which is the big social rights issue of our time. I don't trust her to fight for us.
-
We are not a socialist country. And there are many times the Bernie or bust people remind me of Trumpers. It’s all about them not the country on whole.
-
Social programs like public schools and pubic roads and parks and public health care just seem like a good way to make sure everyone who lives here lives a good life, no matter their economic level.

If Bernie cant win the nomination he cant beat Trump bro..support the best candidate
-
please educate yourself before 2020. only 30% of voters are democrats. 29% GOP. 40% are independent and don’t vote in primary. now who do you suppose appeals most to independents?

-
Certainly not Bernie Sanders. Believe that

I'm getting the feeling the Dems are flooding the candidate pool with centrist/GOP-lite candidates in hopes that---much like buying multiple lottery tickets---it increases their chances of one of them winning the nomination (but not the election). It's like 2016 all over again.
-
TL;DR: It looks like Dems want a centrist more than they want someone who can defeat Trump, and I hope they figure this out before 2020 instead of repeating the same mistakes of 2016. -:/
-
I’ll take a milk-toast centrist to continued descent into fascist theocracy.
-
A loaf of moldy bread wouldn't be as bad as Trump but why is a moldy loaf of bread the best we have to offer? Why not do better? "We don't care who wins as long as it isn't Trump" is an astonishing low bar to set. If you don't care who wins, you'll get someone who doesn't care.
-
I do care who wins. I want Liz and will likely vote for her in the primary. Then the general election will very likely be a practical choice between Dem and Rep. Voting for low-polling/unpopular other parties is absurd considering what’s at stake. The supreme court is paramount.
-
Sure, I'll vote for whoever the Dem is too. But that's a year away. My point is I'm hoping the Dems actually nominate a good candidate rather than a "lesser evil" one.
-
Yes indeed! I’m annoyed about the support for Biden for the reason of “electablability”. Bah!
