Not joking. I asked about a dozen people who told me they are supporting Joe Biden what they like about his views or policy positions.... And they had absolutely no idea. I asked them what they knew about his views on a variety of issues. They had nothing. Mainly just Obama.

"I just like him" got Reagan 49 states in 1984. It's probably the most important factor there is in electability. Worked for "W." Frankly, I don't get it for either of those guys. But if people really "like" him, he probably has a shot.
