Bernie then voted FOR the bill, sir.

A bill doesnt include just one piece of legislation, it includes others as well. Bernie called out the portions he was he against (mass incarceration related) but explained what he liked (violence against women act). It's not black and white
-
Also, I checked the voting record (here: https://www.congress.gov/bill/103rd-congress/house-bill/3355/all-actions?overview=closed&q=%7B%22roll-call-vote%22%3A%22all%22%7D …) and you can see that he actually voted no for everything except the final bill.

Hilary supporters hate Bernie so much that they will lie and cheat to stop Bernie. Well if they cheat Bernie again. Then they get 4 more yrs of Trump. We won't vote of a 2nd time cheating ass party. Be fair or you get Trump. You guys get that right? Bernie has a strong base. If

Bernie ran on his vote for the crime bill in 2006. Please explain why someone who was against voting on a bill, use his vote on the bill to show he was tough on crimes?

I’ll still vote for him if he wins the nomination. I’ll even let him sniff my hair.
-
I’d vote for Ronald Reagan’s reanimated corpse at this point.
-
Please, let's not outdo ourselves. The strategy of picking the least favorable nominee possible to-- what? show our resolve? hasn't been working well. Keep in mind, you don't have to nominate him.
-
No one is saying that. Pick your pony. I’ll vote for it.
-
Here's one we don't see much of:"I'd even vote for
@BernieSanders if it would get Trump out of the White House." Is that because the likes on this witty post consider that a bridge too far? Or because everyone really likes Bernie? -
Nope. I’d happily and gleefully vote for Sanders if he wins the nomination. And Sander supporters should vote for Biden if he wins. It’s that simple.

So you'll vote for trump then? Why would you do that to the rest of us?

Yep. That's why I donated to Senator Bernie Sanders today & every Berner who can should too. $4.25 for 4/25 or $42.50 for those who can. Thanks in advance.

Bernie voted for the bill, right? Important to note that. His mouthful for the camera is pretty irrelevant.
-
How is that speech irrelevant? He was saying 25 yrs ago the ideas that are becoming popular today. Doesn't that count for something? Doesn't it say something about who he is? No one's saying he's perfect but what other candidate was railing against mass incarceration 25 yrs ago?
-
He still voted for the bill so it doesn’t say much.
-
It says he is a much smart and more compassionate man than Biden, who venomously authored the thing while Bernie only voted for it cause Violence Against Women Act was attached.
-
Honestly, your only defense for him could’ve been “ at least he didn’t vote for it”, but he did, so you have none.
-
I ask myself this - if there woulda been a proposal back then to take all that prison $ and use it help homeless ppl and fund schools, which way would Bernie have voted? Biden? I think we all know the answer. Biden said I don't care about root causes, Bernie the opposite.
