What are voting rights? The United States, all these years later, still does not have a clear answer. And that makes me sad.

I am truly embarrassed by most of the answers that Democrats have given about who should and who should not have the right to vote. Most of the candidates clearly had never even given it much thought and just winged half-ass answers -picking & choosing who votes so haphazardly.

I support a constitutional amendment simply granting all citizens of voting age the right to vote. It’s embarrassing that it doesn’t already exist. Imagine if 5 passengers had to decide which artist to play on a road trip? 1 votes for Marvin Gaye, 1 for Al Green, 1 for Stevie Wonder, and 2 vote for Metallica. Most didn’t want Metallica but Metallica got the most votes so they win. That’s how we vote now and it isn’t working.

Amendments 19, 24, 26. You're supposed to know this. Laws state that convicted felons give up certain constitutional rights. They give up the right to bare arms as well.

Sorry but voting in prison is a NO! The way they treat prisoners now, I wouldn't trust that their vote would be theirs. This will lead to the Norh Carolina Congressional election type fraud. Oh No!

No, women still couldn’t vote until the 19th amendment, & although the 15th is in place Black people & Indigenous people couldnt really vote until voting rights act which is being dismantled
