What are voting rights? The United States, all these years later, still does not have a clear answer. And that makes me sad.
I am truly embarrassed by most of the answers that Democrats have given about who should and who should not have the right to vote. Most of the candidates clearly had never even given it much thought and just winged half-ass answers -picking & choosing who votes so haphazardly.
I support a constitutional amendment simply granting all citizens of voting age the right to vote. It’s embarrassing that it doesn’t already exist. With no Constitutional right to vote there is no bottom line to look to. Time to amend the constitution to guarantee a right to vote and that all votes will be counted!

I am for voting rights, yes. What I am not for is a felon sitting in prison granted the right to vote. If you’re out of prison, as part of the rehabilitation process then I am for it. Bernie’s handler did him an grave injustice here
POC are disproportionately imprisoned. If you disenfranchise them, you only encourage that system. Voting is a right, but also an obligation. Rehabilitation should occur in prison and it should include learning Civic responsibility
