I am truly embarrassed by most of the answers that Democrats have given about who should and who should not have the right to vote. Most of the candidates clearly had never even given it much thought and just winged half-ass answers -picking & choosing who votes so haphazardly.

I support a constitutional amendment simply granting all citizens of voting age the right to vote. It’s embarrassing that it doesn’t already exist. Because it doesn’t, politicians and pundits are left to say who they think should or should note vote.https://www.fairvote.org/right_to_vote_amendment …

They say: “murderers shouldn’t have the right to vote” I say: “murderers shouldn’t have the right to be cops”

“Dear DADDY, Here's the prototype of an unhackable voting machine! I wanted to surprise you, but the fake news tracked down my Chinese patent. Super excited about the rollout across the U.S. before the 2020 presidential election. Love IVANKA”pic.twitter.com/EWhpdqcKn9

With no Constitutional right to vote there is no bottom line to look to. Time to amend the constitution to guarantee a right to vote and that all votes will be counted!

What really makes me sad abt voting rights is the Democratic Party which sponsored and signed into law (by Johnson, a DEMOCRAT!) the Voting Rights Act of 65 has yet to mention it or declare "one person, one vote" a basic principle.

Anyone that contributes more than they take should be able to vote. The rest, sorry. And go...

If you have a social security number, you should have the right to vote.

I am for voting rights, yes. What I am not for is a felon sitting in prison granted the right to vote. If you’re out of prison, as part of the rehabilitation process then I am for it. Bernie’s handler did him an grave injustice here

POC are disproportionately imprisoned. If you disenfranchise them, you only encourage that system. Voting is a right, but also an obligation. Rehabilitation should occur in prison and it should include learning Civic responsibility
