After working for years on this issue, I am devastated. I agree we work through the courts but, not gonna lie, I am trying to think how we can raise money to pay these fines (some clearly illegal). Think people would donate to pay felons' fines?

I agree, at least try to help as many as possible while this drags through the process.

I will contact those who are fighting for this to see how I can help. I cannot solve this problem but, in the meantime, maybe together we can pay some of these bogus fines. Everyday I work with these FINE people who are getting screwed. I am sick.

So I guess in Florida, a felons debt to society will never be paid. They will just come up with a new bill to send them. And people wonder why a lot of felons end up back in prison. The law and or government keep moving the goal posts. It's hard enough as it is. Just sad.
