This is deeply disappointing, to be honest.
Of the Top 10 Democrats, only @PeteButtigieg is taking money from lobbyists. He's been asked repeatedly to refuse.
All of the other top candidates signed a pledge not too. He passed.
It's a red flag.https://www.huffpost.com/entry/pete-buttigieg-only-top-tier-2020-democrat-lobbyist-donations_n_5cbe09d6e4b0f7a84a73681d?07h …

The articles I've read did not state that Beto returned the funds from the Chevron lobbyist, has that changed?
-
I'm not sure, but it was a $250 donation and he lobbies local and state government officials in New Mexico, not federal govt. And Beto's commitment was to not take federal lobbyist money.pic.twitter.com/cF5ZLe2EcL

After they got caught with their hands in the cookie jar, or did they return it on their own before that?

Funnel it some other way perhaps? Such as well-wishers paying for their campaign ads?

Thanks for Calling Pete out on this. It worked I was disappointed in Pete but I don’t think Pete Buttigieg is irredeemable. He still can run a honorable campaign.
