This is deeply disappointing, to be honest.
Of the Top 10 Democrats, only @PeteButtigieg is taking money from lobbyists. He's been asked repeatedly to refuse.
All of the other top candidates signed a pledge not too. He passed.
It's a red flag.https://www.huffpost.com/entry/pete-buttigieg-only-top-tier-2020-democrat-lobbyist-donations_n_5cbe09d6e4b0f7a84a73681d?07h …

I’ll respectfully disagree. :) President Trump said once before he’d fund his whole campaign, and after a little while on the trail he was gladly accepting money from any and everyone and now he sits in the highest office in all the lands.
-
He also said incarcerated people shouldn’t get the right to vote. That pretty much ended my interest in him.
-
I do think their should be a vote allowed for some inmates but a time limit. If you’re serving more than 5 years, it’s a hard no for me. A compromise. Take the college parents scandal, some are going to jail, but they won’t serve long, they should still be allowed to vote.
-
Take the college parents scandal lol a clear case of fair sentencing lmfao
-
Lol that’s a whole another topic.
-
It’s not a whole other topic it’s the entire fucking point, sentencing laws that disproportionately affect black people means not allowing people in prison to vote further disenfranchises an already disenfranchised group.
-
A time frame for voting for those in jails is not the same topic as disproportionate sentences for people of color. I could swear and get mad too, but that’s pointless. I swear people don’t read things to its entirety before jumping to way off conclusions.
-
You cant have one conversation without the other. You want to allow voting to inmates based on how long theyre serving? But if prison sentences are disproportionately longer and more frequent for minorities, that still seems incredibly unfair. And avoiding that topic is misguided

He'd be beholden to big money. Why is everyone so eager to jump on this train?

Shaun, Donald Trump raised $30 million in the first quarter and recently raised more than a $1 million in 24 hours. Democrats need all the money they can get, especially for down ballot races. Why come into something with a disadvantage? Nothing dictates he’ll do their bidding

Really ?!..

Trump already has 30 mil. I think the dems are going to accept lobby $ soon enough. They can't compete with that.

Meh, he kinda does. He's a Mayor from Indiana running against Senators of the most populated states in the country.
