@shaunking and the police and judicial system wonder why people fear getting pulled over. I’m Caucasian and I worry when I get pulled over. I know it’s not the same for the black community, but police officers are thugs. There needs to better vetting of officers before hired. -
Getting pulled over by Police also means you are depending on their intellect to access what's accurately happening in a situation. Case and point...they get it wrong far too often. This is asinine.

What is the punishment for cops lying in their report taking the stand and lying under oath

Usually perjury for a civilian but it's steep sledding to prove someone wasn't afraid. This is why this defense needs to be eradicated.

My question is what are we going to do about this to make it stop? The officer got out the car and just opened fire! No regard for human life! There has to be a new strategy. Watching folks get mowed down is starting to become infuriating.

They (Hamden and Yale cops) ultimately were firing at each other. I live in Hamden and the Hamden cop was waaay out of his jurisdiction/town, the Yale cop a little less so. Both officers were black. Yale cop got grazed.

What the hell? This guy is running away and shooting behind him without even looking! It’s amazing that no one else was hurt. How do they justify this behavior? (They’ll find a way, but I really want to know how they spin it).
