"Love and big ideas," you say? Just this weekend there was a "Fuck Hillary Clinton" chant at a Bernie rally and Bernie supporters online are notoriously hostile and incorrigible towards supporters of other candidates. He's honestly just a mirror of Trump in terms of anger.
Nah. You’d have to actually attend a Bernie event. They aren’t anger events. They aren’t rage events. The are about love and big ideas. They are about moral and political courage. When we sang Woody Guthrie’s This Land Is Your Land at the Bernie rally in SF, the anger was palpable. There were thousands of angry people with their arms around other angry people singing this angry song in solidarity because, well, that’s what angry people do.

Literally both campaigns gained momentum last year promising no more business as usual. Trump with his “Drain the Swamp” and Bernie throwing establishment Dems under the bus by calling Hillary and extension of Obama which in turn was an extension of Bush admin.

I think that’s great. But, I’d prefer my DEM candidates be card-carrying members of the Democratic Party. It’s important to me. There’s so much more to the party and the cause then just showing up for the big game.

The rally my wife and I attended more than a year ago in Lansing, MI was a very positive event. The people were kind and the atmosphere was positive. A great experience.
