Backfired how exactly? By having a handful of socialists applauding this radical idea?! Yes they were loud but you can still count them by 2 pairs of hands within an audience of hundreds of people. #AngryOldWhiteMan #CrazyBernie #MakeAmericaYellAgain

It's not radical at all, and there's virtually no negatives in this plam for common folk to worry about. It simplifies everything.
-
And the gop sponsored investigation proved we'd pay half the cost of now with much more coverage.
-
And a 12 week wait time for a CT Scan or MRI

We will have the same amount of machines. They still take the same amount of time and at least we will all be able to afford them.
-
There's this thing called "bureaucracy".. ever heard of that term?
-
How many people do you know dying when they don't have to because they don't want to leave their spouse in huge debt? I know at least two.
-
Agreed. The insurance industry has to turn into a real competitive market in order to make it affordable and accommodative (which is what
@realDonaldTrump wanted all along). Government funded healthcare is not the answer. - 1 more reply

Why are people surprised we are tired of the current broke system. Working people want Medicare for all not just Bernie fans

I will never understand why people think the working masses *love* their private insurance. It’s complicated, overpriced, & passes judgement on which treatments/preventative care we’ll receive based on its own profit margins.
-
Not really any different than what the Dems re proposing, They aren't making it fairer or less judgmental, they just want to run it the costs will clearly go up just as they did with Obamacare. Do we all forget Obama's promises of lower prices and doctor choice? Both were lies.
-
At least everyone would have access to the same payer plan. Now reimbursement level depends on each company’s profit margin/negotiated rates w/ providers. At least if govt is sets standards, there are checks and balances among branches. If it’s no different, why the resistance?
-
In healthcare—as in education and economic policy—what we’re really looking for (and deserve) is some equitable systems. Not one system that’s designed to benefit a small proportion of people and another for everyone else who ultimately shoulders the $$ & the human cost.

Raise your hand if you also don’t trust Bernie or any other politician and any government funded healthcare plan

This person is working in for profit health care.

Not true at all, I don’t work in healthcare. I’m a

Here is the problem, once we say “for all”, you’ve empowered government to take from all. Many Americans want to pay less for their healthcare than it costs. That means, so@done has to pay more then their healthcare costs to make up for it. This is legalized theft!
-
Yeah the GOP is already giving the 1% millions of dollars in tax cuts, but providing all Americans with life saving healthcare is the real theft
Our systems are broken and have only gotten worse. We already live under the thumb of government, don’t you get that? - 1 more reply
