Because one represents a social Democratic vision where everybody has access to healthcare, education, housing, and fair wages. Versus the other represents continued corporate control over our politics, limited reform, and capitulation to the Republican party. They're different.

And no my opinion comes from an analysis of their campaign funding sources and resulting policy. I think MSNBC and CNN are in bed with the same corporate interests as Pelosi and Schumer because of advertising and political spending for commercials on their network.

When you are into fundraising off of big donors (as Pelosi is, quite proudly), AOC has to seem awful. She's just constantly, vocally and unrelentingly putting the people front and center; The Pelosi-led Democratic party is really about putting the donors front and center.
