With a wave of a hand once again you forget about sanders. The measure is not whether 1 speaks at AIPAC or not, that's a given. Its their record when it comes to the deadly colonial project called Israel. Not at campaign time but during ones career. He's a nightmare. Blink blink.

I imagine Rosario Dawson on one side of him saying “if you don’t defend her, we’re done” and AIPAC on the other side of him saying “if you defend her, we’re done” and Cory in the middle sweating profusely

Any candidate that willingly speaks at AIPAC is automatically off my list.

And that's why I would never vote for either one of them.

Harris and Booker condemn the king but still wish to seem useful to the court. They just want to go back to being part of a comfortable system without upsetting anyone. Not what we need right now. Sanders and Warren for me!

Harris stood in front of AIPAC and spoke about the need to fight for human rights and reminded them how prominent Muslims spoke out against the synagogue massacre. That took courage.
-
Why does this take courage?
-
Because even implying that Palestinians are humans who have rights can offend hard-right militant Zionists, which translates into political enemies within a group that wields enormous power in U.S. politics.
-
I’m sad I live in a world where some individuals who share my religion, who are the inheritors of the Holcaust’s trauma, can so glibly re-perpetuate a tribalist/racist hatred, while being able to culturally normalize their hatred so that speaking out against it = “courage”
