But the question is; when has Stephen Miller done anything that wasn’t overturned by the courts, exposed as incorrect, or just plan old wrong? Miller would be dangerous if he wasn’t always on the wrong side of the opinion. He lost the 2018 midterms for the GOP.
His policies have caused great harm. Most of the Muslim ban is currently in effect. His harsh ideas on family separation at the border have done irreparable harm.

And he's paid a hefty political price every time he's enacted any of those policies. One can draw a bright red line between Miller's policies and Democrats taking back the house in 2018. Hell, you could even look at Miller's policies and GOP special election losses together.

I'm not being clear. I agree that a price has been paid politically, but the harm they have caused at his directive is immeasurable.

Elections have consequences and these are the immigration policies Trump campaigned on. He's doing what he said he'd do and people are paying the price for that.

There's no Muslim ban. Only a few countries who didn't have their vetting procedures up to par are banned until they do get them up to par. Same countries Obama banned and only about 1/7 of all Muslim countries. Thus, that's why it's a travel ban, not a Muslim ban.
