Oh my God. On a plane to New York and just saw that our dear brother Nipsey Hussle has been shot. Like so many of you I am just crushed. Absolutely crushed. Heartbroken for his family and crew. And for our nation. Nipsey is one of the best among us.
Some days I hate this world. The violence and cruelty can be overwhelming. The pain and loss can be so staggeringly awful and heavy that it literally feels hard to breathe.
All the more reason I appreciate your light. Thank you for all of your efforts.

It’s shocking the lack of respect we have for life in this country
It really does get overwhelming at times. But all we can do is breathe, and resolve that all these deaths won’t be in vain—that we’ll keep fighting. We’ve got a lot of work to do. Hang in there, Shaun, you’ve got more support than you know.
