I totally understand why people get caught up in that fight, I am no fan of "private prisons" (especially for immigration detentions), but banning private prisons today would have very little effect on the vast majority of folks in prison. Great to hear from you! Thanks

Now, one thing that would help the vast majority is ending the predatory relationship between public prisons and, for instance, Securus/Jpay (or CCC) in terms of emails, video visits, cash transactions, voice-printing, cash cards upon release, phones, tablets, music players etc.
