the point is that ALL prisons, in a sense, are privatized....by focusing on the few that are owned wholly by corporations we tend to miss all the corporate penetration of public prisons - and how that affects EVERY person in prison

I totally understand why people get caught up in that fight, I am no fan of "private prisons" (especially for immigration detentions), but banning private prisons today would have very little effect on the vast majority of folks in prison. Great to hear from you! Thanks
