I remember seeing that headline when it came out. I got all excited but then clicked on the link, read down to who was behind it, and then was immediately disappointed that it was never going to happen.
But it has happened. Of the 87 articles published in our first month, only 2 are from me. 2. We’ve hired, published, and paid a brilliant set of writers and editors. The majority are Black women. We’re immensely proud of where we are. Today is the first day of our second month.
