These people were already deranged, but never went on a killing spree until, by their own admission, Trump provided the motivation (or "fuel") needed to actually take action. So yeah, fueled by Trump is 100% accurate.

I don’t think you can blame the current state of our nation on one man. It is deeper than trump. These people always felt this way, it’s a matter that these feelings were there. Trump didn’t come along and make them feel this way. They always have.
