Still waiting on him to release his taxes before he can even be considered
-

-
Have you studied the taxes of the other candidates? What did you find? Sincerely curious.
-
This is disingenuous and beneath you. If you support Bernie, tell him to release his taxes. Yesterday.
-
What? I wanted to know if he had actually requested and studied the tax returns of all of the candidates or if he was just interested in Bernie’s. I’m genuinely curious. I see people asking for his and wondered if they asked for them all.
-
I do think every single candidate should release their tax returns. Bernie can lead in transparency.

Shaun— serious question: why not Warren? What does Bernie have that she doesn’t?
-
I love Warren. Bernie has built broad national coalitions on Medicare for All, on the
@fightfor15, and more that I value deeply. I also know and love the new team Bernie has assembled. -
That’s fair. He definitely has a huge infrastructure and broad coalitions which are very important. Personally I think Warren edges him out by a hair based on their records, but they would both be excellent Presidents. I’ll fight hard for either. :)
-
I've paid attention to progressive politicians for decades. Bernie was 1 of few true progressives in the Senate. The feat he pulled off in 2016 against est candidate is unheard of, though press won't admit. In my mind, Warren doesn't hold a candle to his record & his courage.

... And then I legislated in the whitest states of this nation without much engagement of the African American community through my tenure..
-
He was in a MLK march.
-
This is my biggest issue turning a moment into a movement.. There is no evidence he "marched" with MLK he may have been there so were 100's of thousands what has he done in his career to combat racial injustice throughout his career

When I was a young, progressive African American man about your age Jesse Jackson ran for President (1984+1988). I worked on both campaigns....Bernie supported Jesse & the Rainbow Coalition. Bernie is REAL...I voted for him in 2016 and I support him now!

Isn’t it too early to tell? I mean campaigning hasn’t fully begun. HOW could anyone be SOOOO strong for a candidate withOUT hearing others or seeing debates?
It doesn’t seem logical to ME.
-
I believe that with Bernie it’s NOT too early to tell because he has a record of fighting for people. But I see what you’re saying, he’s not the only candidate there’s Tulsi and Yang but my issue is who can we trust? It’s one thing to say the right things but what about records?
-
Yes I think record plays HUGE role. And at the end of day... it COULD be Bernie. I’m just saying as educated n active voters... most ppl will hear ALL platforms b4 calling it. In any job search, experience is a factor but not ONLY factor. Don’t rule me OUT b4 u even hear me.
-
I believe that there’s nothing wrong with being open minded so I agree with you about being open. Bernie is personally my 1st choice. There are some candidates that we don’t know much about but I’m talking about the candidates that we already know about that have a bad record
