At last - something we disagree on. If someone commits brutal murders I have NO problem w/them receiving a death sentence. It is NOT barbaric compared to their brutal murders. My only issue w/ the death penalty is how long they get to wait for execution. Kill them quicker!

Of course not. But I do believe that murderer should be given the death penalty. Its ridiculous that with today’s technology that anyone innocent is convicted but I know it does happen and it’s tragic.

For any circumstancial case I agree. If it's obvious the person is guilty, then good riddens. There is a need for it for those that are guilty with hard proof.

In theory "circumstantial cases" should not result in convictions. If I were a criminal defense attorney, I'd be appealing any guilty verdict not deemed "obvious" enough for the death penalty.

In New Mexico it took 10 years of legislative efforts to finally abolish the death penalty 11 years ago.
