I used to work for an after school program at a K-8 school in East Oakland, CA. Even the safety drills at the end of recess seemed like it was perversely training kids to be prisoners. Once the whistle blew, kids had to get down on one knee and wait to be counted.

Basically give & take...give you a cop & a gun but no nurse or faculty....just do what Thomas Jefferson did after a shooting. We had ID 4 digit code, then place your bag on a TSA Xray machine, walk through a metal detector door, then get a wand search....then your in
