"nieces and nephews" which is worse.

But he said “not many people know that” So why exactly are they a secret?
-
He talked himself into the ground. Even I was like "no no keep it at nieces and nephews". "Family" would've been fine, but to specify in such a manner shows a guilty conscience

-
I'm curious about that too. What do you think about him not noting the black inlaw? Claiming the presumably half-white nieces and nephews but not the black parent. If they truly are n&n then he'd say my bro/sis inlaw is black and I accept them 100%..., but he didn't.
-
So true. And it seemed to me he only cried when he said “not many people know about that” as if he was heroic in admitting this fact in public and was dying inside.

But meadows was insulted and hurt when rep Talib confronted him on his actions.
-
and then they had an extended, performative moment of mutual appreciation and solemn acknowledgement of Meadows's cousins or something who are POC so...racism solved!
-
The "POC relative" sure didn't diminish Strom Thurmond's' racism, did it? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Essie_Mae_Washington-Williams …

As a white woman, I cringed & felt sorry for her.Reminded me of when Trump pointed to a black man at one of his rallies while campaigning & said "Oh look one of my African Americans." Or how some slaves must have felt when they worked in the master's house, instead of the field.

Oh, and Meadows faux outrage was epic.

I can't even listen to this shit. I thought it was bad when Bush was elected and I had to turn off any media where I could hear his voice but *this* … I just want to scream but I don't think I could stop once I started.

Yes!!! It was vile. But what would you expect from
@MarkMeadows, Mr. “let’s send Obama back to Kenya...” Mark Meadows. And SHAME on@LynnePatton for allowing herself to be used as an exhibit, pawn, and token. -
Said it before and I'll say it again: if you voted for trump, you are JUST AS GUILTY of his racist behavior as he is.

The moments he was called out for it are pretty cool - he looked like he was going to pass out

he had the vapors worse than
@LindseyGrahamSC -
But he doesn’t clutch his pearls as well as Graham.
