In not too many years, @AOC will be our President. I sincerely think she could win now if not for the age limitation.

I live in Seattle. Her perception of what Amazon did to Seattle is wrong.

I come to Seattle often. Depends on who you speak to. But AOC did not run Amazon away here. It's not even her district. Local leaders asked for some meetings and pushed back for a few weeks, then Amazon bailed.
-
Her response wasn't good mate. She basically celebrated the results and spoke bad about them prior to it happening..

Yeah, I’m pretty sure AOC had a point on this one... https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/data/seattle-hits-record-high-for-income-inequality-now-rivals-san-francisco/ …pic.twitter.com/efyKFeIet7

It’s a PR disaster for her. Media, nor she handled it well. I got mad love for
@aoc though. She getting sharper every day through her missteps. -

And honestly, she was a loud voice in a deal that would never have materialized in this form. NYC city council is the most powerful in the world, you can’t ignore them like they did. And if you know NYC, you can’t pay a high schooler to paint your wall unless they are Union.

You don't want Amazon in your city. Sincerely, a Seattleite.
-
Yup. I second that from Seattle.

she said the 3 billion in subsidies that amazon would save shouldnt be part of the deal. Those taxes should be collected and used on schools, teachers and community. People made that into saying she is incompetent. She knows what she is saying. Bezos doesn’t need corp welfare
