More to the point, by calling to mind his lies in the past they're saying in effect "That guy who told you Trump was innocent, and had done nothing wrong? He was lying."

That! Definitely. AND... your best defense is that the guy is untrustworthy, but @realDonaldTrump trusted him deeply for years with his most sensitive business. So, either both are crooks, or Trump is a fool, a lose-lose bind for @GOP.

I'd also add that he is about to serve 3 years for perjury and you think he is going to risk perjury again? Before his sentence even starts? If anything, he's more likely to be truthful right now.

Republicans are no different from Donald Trump. Who lied to the American public day in and day out. Michael Cohen is telling the truth.

The 9,000 isn’t even an exaggeration. Let that soak in.
