Today was a great day but also bittersweet as I think about Erica Garner, daughter of Eric Garner who passed away from a heart attack at the young age of 27. We were surrogates together on Bernie’s 2016 campaign. She loved Bernie. Rest in power sister.
My last conversation with her was about how much she loved and trusted Bernie
