It’s never been about who Bernie is. It’s always been about his policies and his record. It’s hard for others who vote mostly based on personality or identity as to why he garners so much support.
Too painful man. I said some things about Bernie in a speech that his family told me even they had never heard before. He just doesn’t talk about much of his past. Doesn’t want to use for political gain

It’s also painful to continually see his ethnicity violently erased by being called an “old white man”, as though he wasn’t a Jewish child in NYC during WWII. I know what that same trauma did to my Mom. People are rewriting history.

How nice that he gets to have a choice. A POC or woman does not get these choices. Not only do they have to dredge up their trauma, they are shamed and called liars if they don’t divulge every aspect of it.
