If you "hate" Bernie Sanders, frankly it says a lot more about you than it does about him. He's a kind, consistent, reliable man who has dedicated his life to public service and standing up against the machines of power.
If you LOVE having Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House, and think that she is competent and capable and badass, but think that Bernie is too old to run for President, you need to check your math. Speaker Pelosi is a year and half older than Bernie.

She isn't running for president. She faces election in 2020, then again in 2022. She stands up for democratic values and the Democratic party. Sanders was too arrogant to support Hillary in 2016, and if Sanders is running, he won't support the Dem nominee in 2020!
Sanders supported and actively campaigned for HRC after she won the nomination in 2016.

That is such a bullshit response. It’s not just about age. Nancy Pelosi has experience directly applicable to this job & no competition with similar experience / outstanding preparation. (Partially the result of republican majorities in house for years.)
Bernie isn’t in a similar position. Someone could make a compelling argument for Biden based on that reasoning. But not Bernie. And there’s nothing about his career in the senate that makes him a standout for president.
Pretty bold - and slightly offensive - statements, Shaun. I supported Bernie before most people in America knew who he was. I campaigned for him in the last election. I will NEVER vote for him again and it has nothing to do with his age.

I disagree with passing judgment on people for characteristics they have no control over. I look at a candidate's ideas and policy proposals, not at things they can't change about themselves.
