If you "hate" Bernie Sanders, frankly it says a lot more about you than it does about him. He's a kind, consistent, reliable man who has dedicated his life to public service and standing up against the machines of power.
If you LOVE having Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House, and think that she is competent and capable and badass, but think that Bernie is too old to run for President, you need to check your math. Speaker Pelosi is a year and half older than Bernie.
Bernie is not a Democrat. Bernie ran as a Democrat and as soon as he lost, he divorced the party and was back to being an Independent. His message resonated back then because he was the only progressive voice, so it was very refreshing. His message is now tired and stale
Correction- as soon as Bernie lost, he fully endorsed Hillary and told all of his supporters to vote for her to the last day of the election.
He didn't. He resisted, demanded to have a say in the platform - for a party in which he wasn't part of. He used leverage and Clinton camp conceded because they didn't want to alienate his supporters. Only after the platform was completed did he "come around" & do it formally.
