Denigrating Native Americans is partly tactical. No other group have been as successful in blocking pipelines and other threats to the land. Make them seem comical and lessen public support/outrage when you roll tanks onto their land
Trump continues to mock Native Americans and the genocidal Trail of Tears just for shits and giggles. His operating philosophy is White Supremacy and White Power. Every joke, every meme, every dig- they are all driven by this.

Just saw a play in omaha, "return to niobrara" that should be show across US. Its such a great story (its at kids theater and I was blown away) allowed me to talk to 7yr old niece about trail of tears, treatment of natives etc. Play meant for older kids but so well done
