Dude voted against importing drugs to lower costs of prescription drugs, voted to raise the military budget a couple times, and abstained from a vote on single payer healthcare. I’m cool

7 years ago he had a vote you don’t like. He has since changed that vote and now supports Medicare For All

Respectfully, this article is dated Jan 2017https://theintercept.com/2017/01/12/cory-booker-joins-senate-republicans-to-kill-measure-to-import-cheaper-medicine-from-canada/ …

Respectfully, that is not an entirely honest/complete article. This tells more of the big picture.https://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2017/jan/18/other-98/viral-image-about-democratic-senators-and-big-phar/ …

...or could it be that the pharmaceutical companies reject the competition from inported drug because it would reduce their profits?pic.twitter.com/xhiIXaUXcd

On 100 issues, how much do you agree with
@KamalaHarris@SenGillibrand@ewarren@JulianCastro? Why only mention HIM? I too think he’s a great guy...this field of Dems are all strong candidates. May the best MAN or WOMAN win.#Democrats -
Because he announced today. I’ve mentioned each of them on the day they announced.

I am surprised that
@shaunking has ignored this Ralph Northam story. He is usually eager for an opportunity to call a white guy racist, but maybe that's only for Republicans. Could this mean that Shaun is more intent on stoking political division than racial division? -
um... but he hasn’t, so...
-
Ya, he has tweeted now. I was still surprised it took him so long considering the type of story. Also, even as a Dolphins fan, I couldn't help but admire Doug Flutie.

Is his position on Israel genuine? How about his relationship to the pharmaceutical industry in NJ and the cost of prescription drugs? Do you want to talk about why he took a large chunk of $$ from Betsy Devos to build charter schools?
-
I share those concerns and have said so.

I have to be honest here Shaun, I hear a lot of platitudes but nothing concrete. Platitudes are what we’re used to in politics. I wish he was more direct in this video about what he cares about. But I’ll do some more research and see how I feel.

Cory has the best plans on criminal justice reform of anyone in the race. Period.

Too many people are running already. Dems should've gotten together & decided which candidates were the most qualified AND who stands the best chance beat Trump. We need real leadership. Not a popularity contest. Shake things up. Take a different approach. Its about US not ME!
-
Umm, what you're asking for *is* the Dem primary. All of us will decide who the best nominee is, on policy and beating Trump.
-
Obviously I'm aware of that. I still think there's no need for everybody to be putting their hats in the ring. Many of the higher profile candidates are going to cancel each other out.
-
We are over a year out from the election. Insane that the cycle starts now, but it gives us plenty of time to put forth the best candidate.
-
21 months should be enough time to narrow down this field. I’m just hoping they play nice and keep the team together!
