I get downstairs to see what in the world the problem is. It's two uniformed NYPD officers. One Black. One White. What they said next damn near gave me a heart attack. They said they were there for a "missing child report." I have 5 kids. I thought they meant MY KIDS.
The cops then say someone gave them my home address for the last known location of a missing 15 year old girl from Queens. They literally wanted to search our home. Again, the NYPD has been weaponized against my family. They refused to say who gave them this stupid ass tip.

Whoever did this is taking resources away from actually finding a missing child, which is unconscionable

I hope you are able to sue a John Doe and then get an order for the info you need in the discovery process. Whoever did this to you belongs in jail. Sad state of affairs that the cops would rather harass you than investigate the actual crime here.
They should be investigating who is harassing you and your family... unless it is ACTUALLY some police officers doing it.
In which case you should report this to the FBI! Scary.
It's called "swatting", and people have been killed as a result. Your home address is known to some anonymous trolls on Reddit or 4chan, who sent the cops to rattle you. In other instances, they've reported "shots fired", "domestic assault", etc. Serve subpoenas on the websites.
Call your lawyer right away, in any case.
Harassment...they should know after that last fiasco.
