Brooklyn DA Ken Thompson, who died tragically at age 50, exonerated 23 people starting in 2013 after running on a platform of racial justice and reform. Dallas DA Craig Watkins started a conviction review unit in 2007--more than 25 ppl exonerated. Just two examples.
