I believe you. And not everyone can be well-versed in every anti-Semitic trope. I can only speak for me, but ever since Pittsburgh 1) I’m hyperaware of my Jewishness and 2) my anti-Semitism radar is, like, on high alert. When I saw the Congresswoman’s tweet, I was like, “Uhhhh.”

It's also because there are parts of the left that don't take antisemitism seriously. They don't realize how insidious & dangerous it can be or how it is tied to other prejudices. The shooter in Pittsburgh hated immigrants & thought Jews were behind them being allowed into the US
