It’s so odd seeing so many use his name to declare themselves civil rights champions, but not actually live his message.. I appreciate you Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

As a proud former Marine, I have to tell you... I totally agree with you.

Every year they chip away some notion he willingly died when in fact he was Assassinated by the very government who celebrates him. Classic whitewashing at its finest. This is why it’s crucial to real know the history and not play into the whitewashed media’s version of history.

And, a man who stood up and opposed indiscriminate use of American Military force around the globe.

Equal rights to murder through military but not equal rights to live...

I completely understand that Dr. King denounced the military industrial complex. That said, he might have impressed by how far the services have progressed and how much they still need to improve. I'm glad the USMC recognizes the importance of Dr. King's message. #unionforever
