This makes zero sense. How exactlydoes he bring light issues to raise awareness by going onto the shadows? And why is he supposed to do his work the way you think it should be done? Please think before you tweet.

It’s quite ironic that you’re saying to not fight the ally, when that’s literally what Shaun King is doing. He shouldn’t of sent a hit out on a YOUNG black woman activist, and he wouldn’t be under such scrutiny.

She didn’t. She asked some accountability questions and deleted the tweet before he emailed her. I know ppl who met/worked with Shaun and they’ve all told me something about him isn’t right. If he had an ounce of dignity, he’d work to reach a resolution with her privately.

He could've just as easily sent that email to Clarissa Brooks and not posted her name. He should know social media well enough to know that it was going to end up with her getting endless harassment. That's the part that upsets me.

Clarissa’s got no one to blame but her own confirmation bias - and she just can’t help but quadruple down? I dislike how Shaun handled it, but this went into overdrive with her, and now she’s not only refusing responsibility, but being openly antagonistic? That’s weak as shit.

It's sad & hilarious to see people doing bad mental gymnastics to argue that a victim of widespread libel needs to somehow hide & protect the people doing the libel from the consequences of their own actions. We have some morally stunted people in this world.

what #shaunking or anyone else attemoting to help our people should realize, is we cry for help, then turn on the helper for helping, but those with the biggest mouths in opposition are doing absolutely nothing... Similar to a slave talking down to others for wanting to be free.

Agreed! It’s the same strategy time and time again. Get the “field negroes” to distrust the “house negroes” and vice versa. White supremacists successfully exploit this defect created from generational conditioning. We need more of us to study our history and break the cycle!
