The mainstream Democrats need to stop trying to be GOP-lite. The Dems need to be more AOC, less GOP.

I've voted Dem 99% of the time and what's exasperating is the GOP digging in their heels and dragging everything further right and the Dems letting them do it in the spirit of "compromise" instead of having some backbone. Kudos to AOC for bringing some long-overdue change.

I admire her confidence! I prefer Democratic Party reps to think for themselves and rep their district’s constituents. Best solutions are found when a variety of talents and ideas are welcomed. And I think Democrats generally do that.

Is there anything more absurd in our congress than the idea that seniority matters? They are all elected to equal positions. If anything a newly elected congressperson has the largest mandate to be exactly who they ran on being and to be heard.

100% Appoinments shouldn’t be careers. We’d have so much less corruption if people would do their 2 terms for the people and get out!
