When politicians say they are against the BDS (Boycott, Divestment, & Sanctions) Movement, but are then proven to regularly support other national & international boycotts and sanctions, that’s just code for how little they respect the human dignity of Palestine.
Either we are going to outlaw ALL boycotts and ALL divestment and ALL sanctions or none. But it can’t be the case that it is legal in this nation to boycott EVERYBODY and everything except for Israel. That’s not going to fly. Israel has had war crimes and human rights abuses.

No one is obligated to do business with any nation or government. No nation or government is above critique or accountability, including through boycotts, divestment or sanctions. This is not hard to understand.
Imagine a politician doing this for South Africa during Apartheid, because it’s basically the same thing.
Isn't it partly about people who are not expert in absolutely everything sticking with what they know, or think they know? If there had been no BDS against Saddam's Iraq 9/11 would probably not have happened, the Iraq War might not have happened, Daesh would not have emerged.

FYI: 1st bill proposed by 2019 GOP Senate. 26 states added to 13 states with some version of law to punish/sanction entities that participate in OR support the boycott of Israel. 1st bill in 2019 by the Dem. House is an anti-corruption, election/campaign reform bill. Thoughts?

Here in Germany #BDS is an antisemitic movement. That makes it impossible to support it.
It's racism because they simply don't give Palestenians life and dignity any value, they don't see them as humans under occupation and apartheid, but terrorists who had it coming.
