Very insincere. You don’t just fumble over words & say that. It was already on your mind. Must use it frequently if you’re accidentally spewing it out on live tv. Definitely not a coincidence

Bs example. Nothing that he said after "king" had anything in it related to "coon". I could see if he had to say "soon" after that but he didn't and I'm sure those that fired him reviewed what he had to say on the teleprompter and realized that...he got what he deserved.

So you contend that on live TV he had the intent to use the word at bar and then apologize later? And regard to what he said, in my opinion he said "coon" as a morph between the K sound in king and junior. K and june"ior". Say "Kjune" no emphasis on "j".

He intended to use the word. The apology came when? Most people on the air correct themselves immediately on SMALLER and less offensive stumbles. He DID NOT.

I agree with you on most things Shaun, but you are just plain wrong on this one. If you listen to the video, he clearly got tongue twisted and ran “king” and “junior” together. I can’t believe we are destroying someone’s career over this. Insane.
