BREAKING: Two men that I reported to @SheriffEd_HCSO on this past Thursday have been arrested and charged with the capital murder of Jazmine Barnes.
Names: Larry Woodruffe and Eric Black
It took us from Thursday to Sunday to truly understand this case.
After Woodruff & Black shot & killed Jazmine Barnes, 4 credible independent eyewitnesses heard the shooting and saw a white man in a red truck speed off. It appears that man was an innocent bystander who fled, actually fearing for his life as well. He was not the shooter.
Come on Shaun - can we at least get a “my bad”
If he had to say "my bad" everytime he messed up that's all his Twitter feed would have on it

For ALL of you haters on this page. How about you actually read the facts before you sling more hate. At the end of the day....the killer was found. Black, white it makes no difference. I didn’t see any of YOU working to bring justice or help this poor family.

Not much need for an apology when the same suspect kept being described days after King claims he got his tips that were the complete opposite. I'm not trying to sling hate at you but go check it out. Deeply concerning, at least to me.
He would have never waded into this if he didn’t think this was race related....that is why everyone is questioning his motives. Sadly if it was a black on black murder he would have never got involved. That is horrible.
There’s a lesson here, Shaun. If that truck had been recognized by the wrong person, an innocent man could have faced vigilante justice. I love your work (check my timeline), but I hope you proceed more cautiously next time. Eye-witness accounts are notoriously unreliable.
Would you of been personally involved in this case if the original suspect was black? Unfortunately not. However, it’s not you that leads to racial division in our country. It’s me, the white male. Right?
I and many others owe the man accused an apology and I'm sorry , to him sincerely.
I mean...the dude everyone suspected is a menace...probably best that everyone was made aware of his criminal behavior. Yeah, we got it wrong, but I'll sleep better knowing I can identify that guy.
