Why not vote no on the rules because of Paygo AND introduce the legislation? Messaging and symbolism are critical . This is really deflating right out of the gate .

So there are two different things called PAYGO. What they are repealing is the 2010 legislation. The other day was a rule which was used to negotiate conscessions like Medicaid for all hearing, 40% of committee positions for the progressive caucus and more. This is big.
Inside outside strategy is the best way I can see this. also folks should look at past votes on the senate side to see who voted for the 2010 legislation and the senate version of the rule.

Shaun, how can you say that? She voted 4 #PayGo several days ago when 18 votes would kill it. This bill she touts needs 218 votes to kill #PayGo & it will not pass, killing #GreenNewDeal and #MedicareForAll This bill is #windowdressing & an attempt for her to save face.
